My recent purchases of .22 caliber pistols (Taurus 94, Star Model F, and Walther P22) have gotten me to think more about .22 rimfire cartridges.

What is the chamber pressure for .22 LR standard and high velocity cartridges?

I could post all the data but ANSI/SAAMI shows that all 22LR from standard velocity to Hyper Velocity runs a average of 240MAP.

That is read as a MAximum Average Pressure of 24,000PSI

The Maximum probable sample is 25,000PSI
