The son's rifle. We did a bit of liberty trainer.

• BX trigger
• USGI style leather sling
• Stock shortened 1"
• Pachmayr recoil pad.
• Williams 5D-RU rear peep sight

I'll probably get him a 15rd magazine or two as well.

22lr training rifles. The kids' vs mine.

His is more accurate and softer shooting. Mine is so much cooler.

Whoever has the rifle on top wins for coolness.

After paying for too many cheap 22 scopes, I ponied up for some better glass.  Now I need to find which ammo it likes best, and get back to shooting.

Looks good, pretty close to what I have posted above.

Try some CCI Standard Velocity. Both my CZ's shoot really well with it. For match ammo it's hard to beat SK standard.

I have CCI SV, as well as a few boxes of various match and target.  No SK though.  I'll keep it in mind next time I shop for 22.

It's done decent with the CCI before, but crappy optics and less than stellar performance on my part didn't lead to best groupings.  I really like the CZs.

I think his wins for classiness.

Wanted to test how some Eley Edge I have shoots in my FV-SR. I prefer to shoot steel over paper, but on my 2" ringers, it seems to do just fine. I could pick which side of the plate to hit and it shot like a laser.

Might need to make the 2hr drive back to Cabela's to get some more.

My 20+ years old 10/22. A wile back I found and installed the Butler Creek folding stock. It has a very cheap but, so far / so good, red dot along with an excellent laser made specifically for the 10/22. Super skunk and dillo eradication device.

Before (w/ laser only)

Picked up my Nodak receiver today and put it on my golf ball sniper toy today. Tac-sol barrel, compensator mag release, JWH Custom bolt & charging handle, Boyds Barracuda stock (may give it a high gloss this summer) and Ruger BX trigger pack (probably will replace with a Kidds).
Switching the receiver out allowed me to put the Ruger back to the way I bought it. Did a little adding up and just shook my head at how much I spent building this.
