Here's my bone stock 10/22T. Scope is a cheapo Simmons. I am amazed at how accurate it is, especially for a stock rifle.

Whoops, I just posted my pics in the other thread.  Oh well, I'll post here, too.

This is a bone stock Ruger K10/22T that I bought as a college graduation present for a friend of mine.  I figured it'd be a good starter rifle for her.  It's got a cheap Bushnell .22 rimfire 4x fixed scope on it.  The sling was done custom by a leather shop near my house, but the quality turned out to be sub par.  :(  It's alright, though - she's happy with it.

This was shooting about 0.5" groups at 50 yards out of the box.  After running 1200 rounds through it, I'm in love.  The barrel is beautiful.

That is awsome, did you do the stock your self (using AK parts) or is it an actual kit?

RUGER 10/22 'RUBBER RIFLE'.
BEC Rubber Armored & TASCO 'Pro-Shot' 1.5-4.5x20 scopes.
Hogue Rubber Overmoulded stock.
Choate bbl. shroud.
Quake Rubber padded sling.
Weaver T-09 base.
Butler Creek flip-up lens covers.
Harris bipod.
Eagle 10-rd. magazine.
And the reason I switched stocks - VORTEX flash suppressor. Like it really needed one!

Remington 597 left view.
.22LR.
TASCO 'Pro-Shot' 1.5-4.5x20 scope in Remington base and Kwik-Site low matte rings.
Uncle Mike's 1" nylon sling.
Stock has since been painted with Dupli-Color Truck Bed Liner for texture and fogged with Krylon Satin Hunter Green for some color.
The Remington 'upgrades' of the ejector and metal mags were done, courtesy of Remington.
It works as well as the 10/22 and is much smoother and more accurate. Nice little rifle.

I'm hoping the pic works, otherwise if someone wants to host it for me I'd appreciate it.

Original gun was a stainless ruger 10/22 with plastic stock, and simmons 4x20 shotgun scope.

Here's what I did to it, and the prices for each (shipping included)

VQ Carbon barrel (200)
VQ Target hammer (32)
Bolt buffer (6)
Simmons ATV 4.5x14x40 scope (68)
Burris medium rings (24)
T09 mount (5)
Bondo (6)
Paint (15)

Total = $356

The stock was the original plastic one that I cut the front end off, then used bondo to fill in where I wanted, then painted using some rough texture paint. I like how it turned out, but I will probably end up giving it a good sanding and possibly a clear coat because the paint it a little rough where the colors meet. I just painted a green base coat, then blue masking taped it, carved out the black pattern with a razor, painted it. Then did the same for the brown.

Yes...3 of them. Built my own with various improvements like needle bearings in the crank handle, No sharp corners, polished cams, hogue grip.
I went to Russia Ohio where they make them at. Guy has several CNC's running cranking them out. He also makes motorcycle parts, Gocarts and minibikes. Nice shop and good people to deal with.
