Where's a good place (and what's a good price) for 10rd factory magazines?

Anyone had good luck with pre-ban hi-caps?  Which ones, where from, and how much?

Thanks,

Mike

I assume you mean for the 10/22?

Ten round factory mags are the most reliable and can be had anywhere for $10-15.

For hi-caps, I have had the best luck with Butler creek steel lip and hot lips 25 rounders.  However, the Butler Creek steel lips 10 rounders I tried sucked... jammed like crazy.

If you are looking to purchase a high cap mag then maybe buy one then wait to see if the ban sunsets later this year. After that there should be a significant drop in prices.

Yes, the steel lips work best.

I refuse to pay up to $100 for a high cap .22 mag! I'd go for those ten rounders, the starclip type you can get, and they're only around $10 apeice.

I picked up a couple of hot lips 25 rounders today at a pwan shop for $15.00 a piece    the prices are dropping

I got a few Ruger factory 10 rd mags from Wal Mart for $10 or 11.
