I have a Marlin 25N .22lr with a Simmons 4*32 scope on it. What kind of accuracy should I expect at 50 yards using a front and rear sandbag rest? Thanks.

With mass-produced items, quality will range from "good" to "acceptable".  Those terms are a matter of opinion, but you asked for opinions.  To me, with a scope that size and sandbags, 1/2 inch 5 shot groups at 50 yards is just acceptable, less than that and I would not keep it - there are too many great .22's out there.

Also you have to account for environmental factors.  Wind will create hell with a .22 LR group size.

Just about any bolt .22 should do under an 1" at 50yds. Good ones will average 1/2" at 50yds. Exceptional ones will do 1/4" at 50yds.

My limited experience sez $150 22 should get you around 1" at 50 yards with selected ammo, $500 will buy you half an inch(maybe better) with selected ammo. You really need an adjustable objective scope to solve parallax at short ranges.

You should be able to get Minute-Of-Squirrel accuracy with that
