What is a good camo for northeast U.S.? My AO is the tri-state area

Things are pretty green in the spring/summer, and the winter is well, snow and bare trees.

I know black is a bad choice, what about multicam or ranger green. Im looking for something that is decent year round.

Im asking in order to purchase a new PC.

I live in northern VA and asked a similar question last week. I ended up going with Kryptek Typhon because its tacticool though if I didn't I would have gone with multicam instead.

For other than winter use
M81 Woodland would be a low cost option at a local surplus store.  Multicam would probably work pretty well.  ATAGS-FG.

For winter use with bare trees and snow I couldn't tell you as I have no experience in that area.  I know there are winter patterns for a lot of camo out there.  If your terrain is that varied out there one color/pattern may not work for you.

I use woodland in the summer, and a ripped up stained white sheet as a cover for 3 months out of the year when the precip is frozen

I've acquired a bit of multi-cam this year though

When I lived in MI, M81 Woodland stood out somewhat in the woods- pine or deciduous- due to the copious amounts of black in it. It would not be my choice if I had a say in the matter. ATACS has the tendency to blend into one color at any appreciable difference. Multicam worked great in the Fall and early Spring. MC Tropic might be too green for your AO.

Take a look at any of the Mossy Oak/Realtree hunting camos. You will know what I am talking about if you have spent any time in the woods in the winters along the Delaware valley. Those hunting camos blend right in with the grey bark. Walked right up on a few guys deer hunting with bows. Apologized like crazy, but damn I would have been toast if they were bad guys.

Buy tan, green or multicam. It doesn't matter.

I lived in Massachusetts for 20 years. There's no such thing as "decent year round".

In the winter, it's nothing but white.
In the summer, it's mostly brown with a little green. M81 sucks (too black, way too green). Multicam's going to be too tan. Woodland MARPAT (or the knockoffs) may be a good 3-season option with all the brown in it.

You're not going to find an all-season camo. Even down here, I use multicam in the drought and digital woodland (marpat knock-offs) in the rainy season.

Please clarify what you mean by "tri-state". Quick google search gave me the following options:
NY-CT-NJ
PA-NJ-DE
OH-KY-IN
PA-OH-WV
IL-IN-WI
TN-MI-AR
IO-IL-WI
MO-IL-IO
IN-IL-KY
TN-AL-GA
WV-KY-OH
DC-MD-VA
MD-VA-WV

the latest Finnish winter camo looks really effective if you decide to go to 2 patterns for different seasons
