Looking to get more plates. Usamade and armor. No longer work. Thanks |

Bulletproofme has level 3+ plates, sub 5 lbs. $220-265
In addition to 6 rounds .308, it is rated to stop M193 and M855 from 20" barrels and mild steel core 7.62x39 Stand alone too. Multicurve is very comfy. No Highcom plate is comparable to that protection and weight and the ones getting almost there are 2x the money and still fall short. |

Oh really ? Lighter is better,I'm too old to lug almost 7lb plates x 2 around. ETA 4.7 lbs and 1 " ninja turtle thick Stand alone and padding buit in. Any ICW or non padded plates quickly gave same profile with appropriate backing. They are NOT bulky. Guys in my dept have 10x12 single, 10x12 multicurve, med sapi, and large SAPI sets. |

Are those the re-branded Armourwear plates talked about halfway through this thread? http://www.ar15.com/forums/t_6_10/464487_Spartan_level_III__composite_plate_vs_M855_from_20_barrel.html The Spartan Level III plates are a bit expensive but only weigh 4.5lb. I went with the group buy Level IV plates from SKD. $399 for two 6.75lb plates and a carrier. http://www.ar15.com/forums/t_7_121/1549212_Potential_GB__2x_SKD_Armor_Level_IV_Plates___Paraclete_SOHPC_SKD_Spec_Plate_Carrier___399_.html |

I don't think its a rebrand... ours says ARMOURWEAR right on the sticker, not Bulleproofme. Armourwear does not offer SAPI sizes. SAPI sizes are shipped over and Armourwear builds em up and ships to Bulletproofme. |
