To anyone who has an RTI set up, do you use a paddle or the belt mount? Is the paddle pretty effective at staying put? I'm not going to use a battle belt, just a 1.75" cobra belt.

I'm interested as well. I have two Tacos on a G-Code paddle but haven't tried a holster, I use both the belt and the duty drop.

How do the paddles work exactly? Do they slide inside the waistband and kind of clip on to whatever is there?

I use the paddle most, it helps support the holster more and keep it straight.  The belt mount is kind of narrow and tends to sag or roll.

Pretty much. The one I use stays put pretty well.

I've used and killed both the belt slide and original design paddle.  The paddle was better at stabilizing the holster.  The new design paddles are a huge improvement over the original.  The new paddle material is both repairable (screwed together instead of riveted) and flexible instead of rigid.  I would not recommend the belt slide, as the kydex of which it is constructed is too brittle and too thin.
