Does anyone have any experience with First Choice plates (now renamed Diamondback, IIRC)?

I recently picked up an older 2008-production PE plate from them, and want to try to learn a bit about it...it's labeled a VBBS2 model, which in looking at old part catalogues seems to imply it may be designed as a neutral buoyancy plate.  It claims to be NIJ 05 level III, but doesn't state whether it's designed as a stand-alone or ICW.  It's rather thick for a PE plate at 1.6", and I'm curious what it's actually rated to stop...  And now I still need to find a carrier of some kind that will fit a plate that thick.

Anyone got any clues?

I saw your email inquiry to DBT earlier.  That is a stand alone plate.  Tested to NIJ 04/05IR standards.  7.62 M80 ball at 2750fps.  I didn't see any test reports for special threat testing on that model.  I'll search the network again on Monday for special threat stuff.
