Does anyone have a suggestion for a molle-capable belt for use in a marine environment?  The belt will be submerged and I don't want something that will weigh me down or get soaked through and deform. It must also be rustproof because it will be used in salt water.

Thanks for any help!

Dressy or Utility?

Look into a Biothane belt, leather-like but synthetic. see Liger belt or First Spear

If you're handy, order 1.25 or 1.5 biothane strap from an equine supply company and get a 1.25/1.5 plastic buckle and make your own.

Robert at US Grunt Gear told
me that his War Belts, which
have a closed cell foam for
padding, adds some buoyancy.
I haven't tried swimming in
any of his belts, but they are
unbelievably comfortable for
all day wear & then some.

Call and discuss it with him.
Also, he's a retired Marine &
stands behind his products,
and builds what you want to
your specs.

I'm racking my brain hard but the name of this company escapes me. I could've sworn I've seen a MOLLE-compatible belt designed for water operations. I want to say it's made by an Australian company (but not one of the common brands like SORD or Platatac).
