Great pants, and pretty discreet as well. cargo pockets aren't the biggest but they're clean looking and don't look overtly "TACTICAL" |

In general this site really likes Vertx You've got a point, yours is the first bad news I've heard about them. For this price I think I'll just go ahead and roll the dice. |

I have experienced almost the complete opposite of Kiltakaze, haha. They are definitely my favorite pants, and I haven't had any of the issues he mentioned. I don't wear them to work, but I have abused them and they have held up really well. |

Well, I don't really wear them as a duty uniform, or even for any sort of tactical purpose (though I can't see them being less durable than issued ACUs). I think they're comfortable. The only complaint I'd have is the cargo pockets are pretty small and don't have an actual method of securing them shut. |
Just received my kaki pants from Vertx. I definitely noticed a color difference pulling them out of the box. I have had my older pair for maybe five years and they have faded. I don't do any tactical cartwheels or work in a rough environment, just normal wear. Here are some pics.
Even though they have started sprouting holes and have faded I will continue to buy them, especially at sale prices. I have found them very comfortable and as others have said they don't look "tactical". ETA: The red hue in the last pic is from bad lighting. |
