I'm looking for a pair of lightweight cargo pants, preferable khaki. The thing is, I have no idea what will actually fit. I'm 6'5 and 170 pounds. In other words, I'm a long stick. Finding any pair of pants that fit is hard enough. Finding these have been almost impossible! Any ideas of product lines that might work that maybe WON'T break the bank? Thanks!

I've had good luck with LAPG's Operator pants. Cheap, but has held up in fireground duties and disaster work. I'm happy for the price. And they also offer it up to a 36" inseam as well.

Try the LA Police gear brand.... I've heard some okay things about them.

The TAD AC line are pretty damn light.

I don't know if LA police gear has a ripoff line of them or not.

I usually wear the ripstop kind since I always seem to find the briers and stickers.

I love Vertx's pants. I have both the originals, LTs, and the Airflows and all three are great, hands down my favorite pants. These are the LT (lightweight) model and they come in a 36" inseam.

My budget Go-To pants are the Wrangler rip-stop cargos. $20 at your local Walmart.  The Propper STL1 pants have really grown on me. Lightweight and stretchy. My muscular legs fit comfortably and my movement is not restricted.

The AC version is super light. Think swim trunks. I've had a pair for 3+ years and they have no real noticeable wear.

I also use them with their limitations in mind.
