Ive been searching for a ballistic helmet for a while now. My budget is tight and i came across these helmets on ebay. Only problem is that they are really inexpensive for what they claim to be and ship from hong kong. I would hate to waste 2hundred bills on worthless plastic. They claim to be lvl3 kevlar. Any help would be appreciated.

You can pick up used ACH and MICH helmets all day long on e-bay for reasonable prices. Unless you have a huge melon then you'll have to pay more. I wear an XL and they are hard to find.

Hong Kong and kevlar don't belong in the same sentence. Used ACHs are out there in numbers. It's not the latest high cut guchi gear queer but a lot of us have worn them and handed out dirt naps without issue. |
