Was thinking about some sort of armor setup and after reading about all of the pros and cons, I decided to go with a level IIIA concealable vest
with a LBT lbv, and was just planning on running that setup with a war belt.  What do you guys think about the practicality and decision to go with a lighter more mobile setup?  Also I'm wondering how/what I should equip and where.  Ar mags and camelback on the FLC, with pistol, mags, and misc. on the belt?
I know there are a few pic threads for both vests and war belts, it's just hard figuring out what to go with.

That's more or less what I'm doing. I've got IIIA concealment cut soft armor.  The carrier has pockets for plates, which I have to add as the situation dictates.  A war belt with a pistol, couple mags, couple of rifle mags, gsw kit etc. Then I've got a chest rig which is pretty much just more rifle ammo and water.  Obviously all this can be worn separately or in any combination.

you should be good to go.
If you want a minimalist plates set up, look at the First Spear "first on"

Until I can budget a good plate carrier and plates, I'm using my IIIA vest with an old-school FLC. So far, so good.

This thread has a lot of good information concerning the USGI FLC.
