The ones pictured above are slightly different from the ones I found on their site here.
Look similar enough though. Same concept.
Further on in S and S Precision's site, you have to choose which plate manufacturer you are using from a small list.

Here is their homepage

What do those, who have used armor enough to form a better opinion than I, think?

It looks too .. 'proprietary' maybe

I may have, mistakenly, given the impression I was asking for purchasing advice for a plate carrier or these plate frames. Sorry

My intention was to present something that I thought was new and shiny, and get the thoughts of the good people here on ARF through discussion.

Does this type of carrier have a future?

Does it have a need?

Thoughts?

I think it has a "need" because somebody obviously commissioned them to make it but that doesnt mean it has a future.  I'd like to see sales numbers from them and the other manufacturers that make similar products to see if the concept has gained some traction.

*Edited to add*  at $381, I dont see it gaining traction either....

It would be more advantageous for the end user to be able to use different brands and types of plates in one frame 'system.'

Instead, there is a specific frame for each plate, from a list of four manufacturers. (Ceradyne, Protech, Renegade & Velocity Systems)

That, and I think you are limited to using their pouches and accessories.
