First off, I'm new to this forum; so hello everyone. Now to the meat and beans.

I recently purchased a mixed lot of MOLLE gear and it had a few sterile items in it that I've been at a loss to identify and value. I was hoping to get the opinion of some resident gear guys.

Pouch 1 appears to be a Paraclete pre-MSA MBITR PRC-148 Style Radio Pouch; but there's no tag, the webbing on the back is positioned differently, it's a snap type not the tucked-under Paraclete strap style, and there is velcro on the back of the attachment strap.

Pouch 2&3 is the same deal as the radio pouch, except they're STANAG pouches.

Thanks for any help you can offer!

Neither pouch has the proprietary Paraclete MOLLE strap closure.  I'm no expert on Paraclete items, but from the 3 or 4 different pouches I've bought from them, this does not resemble them in material, color, and/or construction.

Doesn't strike me as Paraclete either

How legit was this gentleman you purchased this lot off of? Might they have owned an airsoft store?

I came to the same decision after looking at the stitching positions; I just couldn't think of any other way to describe it since I'm not familiar with any other manufacturers that make/made that style of radio pouch.

I purchased it through EBay along with a TAS, re-branded to PPM plate carrier (likely due to their merger/buy-out); so these pouches may be from around 2004. The same guy also had some stuff from Allied, Eagle, and other brands for sale when I bought it and claimed to do trades/buys from military personnel. He was located stateside.

The quality, materials, and construction are better than Condor and other airshit items I've had in the past. Specifically the webbing has that sheen that my TAG and other quality gear has. The attachment straps, specifically that velcro, is really whats confusing to me; I've never owned anything with velcro backing on the straps before so this is a whole new ballgame for me.

If it would help, I could take a photo with color comparisons to some other gear brands.

it was to attach to loop lined duty belts hence the three abutted 1" webbing rows, gap and remaining webbing row

the radio pouch style has been duped by many of vendor to the point that its difficult to determine who came up with it first

but no these are NOT Paraclete pouches

They may be TAS then, during that timeframe, anybody that could sew was churning out stuff at the cyclic rate...

Was thinking about the Velcro duty belt thing later on; you beat me to it.

I don't think they're TAS, color and stitching style is all wrong.

Thanks Eggrolly and Raf for the Duty belt info. It gave me something else to chase around the web for a couple hours, but I still couldn't find the pouch. I think these are something I'll have to chalk up as "lost to time". Maybe I'll go have Gearsoc take a crack at it if the curiosity doesn't subside.
