I've been looking for an armor carrier. I've searched and have not come up with anything useful - other than that most people are sold out, or dont have the size and color that I need.

I'm looking for an OD Green, size XL Armor Carrier that can carry SPEAR/BALCS cut soft armor and ballistic plates. I already have the soft armor and plates - would like to find someone who actually has a good quality armor carrier in stock.

Any help would be appreciated, and yes, I have checked the links pinned at the top of this section.

Also - need it for professional use - not airsoft or role playing stuff. We have to buy our own gear.

thanks,

Can you swing Ranger Green, or does it have to be OD?  RG might open up a lot more options.

do you have a specific armor type in mind? CIRAS? RBAV? Blackhawk?

Edit: dang i skimmed my usual sites and everyone is sold out or left with odd sizes and colors. I didnt realize the gun ban mania was effecting armor and clothing availability as well.

I would tend to think that OD is a color nobody really buys anymore. Low demand = why produce more?

RedCatTactical on EBAY may have some DBT stuff left.  For $30 why not check?

I appreciate everyone who has responded.

To add to my original post, here are my preferences:

Can hold my XL BALCS panels.

Can hold my 10x12 level IV plates.

Cumber bun System (preferred).

OD Green.

Velcro on upper chest and back for ID panels. (required)

Quick release would be nice but not absolutely required.

I tried getting in touch with Beez Combat Systems - but I cant get anyone to respond with my questions about lead times, etc.

thanks again for the responses.

Budget? If the carrier doesn't have velcro, you can use the TacTailor panels that use MOLLE. You're limiting yourself as it is because of the OD, so using other panels if need be would be an advantage.

Have you brought up the issue about the difficulty and lack of current production because everyone is using Ranger Green instead? In low light or a distance, it's not going to make a whole lot of difference anyhow, and they need to start addressing the color in their policy now probably.

I think panels would be fine - I've just never used them before. I haven't brought up any of the issues. I'm just glad to be a part of it and wear what they tell me.

See if this meets your requirements.  It is available in OD.
