Whats a good one that doesn't hang down past bottom of Shellback carrier.

I've tried a few options now, I really like this one.

Sorry, I'm having trouble hot linking on the phone.  I got mine from LA Police gear for a few dollars less than this,

I recently read a lot of people pissing and moaning about them because pretty much anything on the rear of the carrier seems frowned upon when there's any chance of riding in vehicles or the like.

Doesn't mean I won't do it, just something to consider.  And TAG for the replies because I'm in need of the exact same thing!

Here's the PIG 2L Hydration Carrier on a banshee.

Just a little bit of hangdown.

If you are referring to the 100oz/3L bladders then 'doesn't hang low' means only about 5" low.  The bladder itself is longer than the banshee, not counting the carrier and attachment difference from the top.  So to keep it up above the bottom of the PC you either have to use a 2L bladder (which still hangs a bit low, like the PIG posted above) or go with the wide, low profile bladder in 3L.  I live out west where water is sparse so I consider the 3L to be a requirement.

I have the Source Razor 3L...fits perfectly on the shellback!

Since NONE of these come with a bladder....does brand/shape/model matter or just the oz. size?

Thanks

The Razor (the low profile PC hydration I linked to above) has a unique bladder, the rest are standard bladders that are size specific.

Just my luck and the Razor is the one I liked the look/specs of the best.

Thanks!

What is a good source for the 50oz bladder for the TAG carrier?

How does the TAG 50oz. attach?  Are their built in straps/snaps?  There is ZERO info on specs of it online.  I was able to find sizing info which makes it a perfect match for the Banshee and the price is great!  LA Police Gear has it for around $25!!

Just not sure which bladder and how it attaches.

Thanks

FYI...I just ordered a TYR and got an email that it's 45 days out. Might have better luck with the TAG.

I don't believe they actually stock anything, all made to order.

Does anyone use a TAG hydration carrier  with a Source hydration bladder?

Are they both G2G/ made in the USA?

Kinda forgot about this thread, thanks for the replies. I ended up with a Source Razor, and it fits the bill nicely. Short, high volume, and low profile
