Well I've been getting rid of my old desert colored stuff and going to new ranger green/smoke green gear and a new carrier setup.
So far I've got: Banshee carrier, soft armor, 2 sets of front and back plates, 1 set of side plates TAG 3 mag shingle pistol enhanced pouch TAG med pouch TAG side plate pouches TAG horizontal utility pouch Emdom dump pouch HSGI sure grip war belt / cobra riggers belt I've got a couple of old saw pouches, hydrastorm that fits a 100oz bladder, and mag pouches, but they're all coyote and I'm not big on mixing colors especially since I'm going for a better blending color on my home turf. I may try to dye some of them near the same green though. I'm still going to add a drop leg setup for my 1911 as a sidearm and some more mag pouches to the war belt, and I need to decide on which 1 point to go with. Besides a smaller h20 bladder pouch does anyone see something missing? Also any input on 1 points that attach via molle/shoulder strap that work well with the Banshee would be appreciated. |

I say just use the few coyote pieces of gear you have. Mixing colors can be a good thing.
Can't really recommend pistol mag pouches for a 1911 but maybe some kind of kydex will work for you. Contact Tydex if you want the best custom kydex stuff in a reasonable time frame. Dude is a buddy of mine and makes really great products. For your holster, I use and recommend the safariland 6320 for a duty/tactical holster. |

What about the pistol tacos? They work well for single or double stack mags, Multitool, and flashlight. I'm going to run these on the banshee and possible another just like it on a drop leg or the belt. http://dgu1g3ll0xfv4.cloudfront.net/media/catalog/product/cache/1/image/9df78eab33525d08d6e5fb8d27136e95/t/a/tag-molle-shingle-pistol-enhanced-3-mag-pouch-coyote-tan_1.jpg I might get a small pouch for a light too but I don't really carry a multitool though maybe I'll start. Nice. You'll like the HSGI Belt and Emdom dump pouch. I used them and they are well made. |
