| In the last year, I've bought a Banshee plate carrier, level IV plates from bulletproofme.com, magazine pouches, A Crye Precision combat shirt and pants, an ACH helmet, a multicam cover for said helmet, an ATS warbelt, HSGI TACOs, HSGI inner belt, first aid stuff, an HSGI drop holster, and a bunch of miscellaneous stuff. I just ordered a mini EOD pouch, 2 HSGI pistol TACOs, and some shoulder pads for my plate carrier. When does it end? This seems worse than BRD. |

I've only been buying gear for about a year too.
Eagle PC and cummerbund, Lvl 4 plates from Tim @ bulletproofme, Grey Ghost assualt pack, hydration bladders, multiple esstac mag pouches, 3 HSGI bleeders, ITS tallboy IFAK, HSGI suregrip war belt with cobra inner. rifle/pistol tacos all around, Grey Ghost chest rig with all necessary pouches, TT Mav as a minimalist chest rig for GHB, custom kydex holsters with RTI adaptors, ETC ETC ETC Next two purchases are a Eberlestock (undecided on model) as a quality 3 day bag and an OPS-CORE base jump helmet. Then it'll be a PVS 14 and dbal. Then I need to get my wife set up with everything.

When does it end? . When you actually have to run around in that shit for more than 20 minutes naw, then it just morphs into buying high quality, lightweight gear which is x2-4 the price.  lol this nails it on the head In reality, most stuff is near as light as it can be. I'm ok with 500D on some things but I think the PC has to be 1000d. Ultralight camping stuff is different from tactical gear. |

I would love a PC in 500 or a mixture thereof. I think BFG's carrier is pretty badass too. Tac Tailor FightLight....look it up I find it ironic and a little annoying that I was begging them for stuff like that when I was stationed @ Lewis. Begging. And they flat out told me they would never do anything under 1000 Cordura. |
