I'm looking at the Proforce Snugpaks (specifically either the Bergen or Rocket Pak) and I'm wondering what kind of reputation they have. I've read a few things saying they held up awesome, one guy who claims it fell apart on him in one day and another that said the fit sucked but he only wore it over armor.
I don't expect to be subjecting them to daily ruck marches or anything more than a few hikes on occasion and then setting in the corner or trunk the rest of the time, so would this be decent or are there better options? The biggest bonus to me are the side 'pods' that can be detached or hooked together for a smaller pack but if the bag won't hold up I'd rather get something else. Thanks. |
