I run a Colt 6920 and am looking for a chests rig.
At first I was looking at the Eagle/SKD universal all molle version, but this is no where to be found. Then i though about the BCM 03 MSF, this is also no where to be found. (looking on EE atm). Right now I'm Leaning towards running an ATS SLICK chest rig w/ 3x Single HSGI universal Taco's and 3-4 HSGI taco universal pistol mag's w/ hydro carrier and ATS modular H harness. Anyone here running ATS? how is their build quality? From their reviews they seem to be well built. This will be mainly for 3-4 day carbine classes and Hunting. I want something low profile and comfortable, don't really want to be carrying around 12 mags, 4 is enough :) if i need more than 120 5.56 rounds .. i don't want to be wherever that place is. Thanks! |

Check out Mayflower. They are as good as they come, and a lot of elite special forces run their gear. You can get a slick version that is just Molle, or you can get the prebuilt chest rigs with pockets already stitched on.
SKD sells them and so does EMgear.net They are 100% made in the USA, and have a no hassle warranty on them. |

I'm probably going to get beat up about this one...
I too have been looking for the same two rigs-especially the eagle. But as you mentioned they are no where to be found. Price, quality and setup are all exactly what I am looking for. I'm not willing (at this point) to spend $150 plus on some of the rigs out there - there is no possible way some of the expensive rigs are worth that much, I've seen both cheap and expensive rigs perform well in Iraq. With that said I'm considering getting a Condor Recon Rig (yes I know, commie made but eagle should pump out more of their univseral rigs), and taking it to a local sew shop and have them reinforce all of the stitching. From what I have seen that is what usually fails on cheap brands like condor and blackhawk. In total it should come in for about what the eagle rig would with the same capacity. |

Sorry if I missed it, but who makes this or is it MOLLE with pouches attached? |
