I recently bought a few things from HSGI...it was expensive (for me anyway). I love the TACOS and the belts.
I love swag and loot. When I ordered from Larue, I was as stoked to get a dillo bottle opener and bumper stickers. When I order through BCM and MagPul, I love the decals. Much to my excitement, HSGI sent me a ball point pen and a decal. Unfortunately, the decal has a misspelling on it and therefore I cannot use it (weird that way...). The word is "Equipment". On the sticker, it is "Equipement". Has anyone ever noticed this? Anyway, i sent HSGI an email just to let them know. It was a kind letter and I even stated I was going to buy more tacos soon. Why am I not surprised to not even get a response back? |

well...did you just send the email? maybe they just havent answered it yet.
and maybe they read it and went "HOLY SHIT THE DECALS ARE MISSPELLED!" and ran out of the office and forgot to reply to you. anyways, was the point of this thread to bitch about how HSGI didnt reply to your email about their decal? ETA: also, maybe it was made to be that way. you can spell it that way, you know. kind of like "color" and "colour". |

Why am I not surprised to not even get a response back? Medicin3Man, We are aware of the spelling of Equipement. This word is spelled in numerous ways as you see. The artist whom designed the decal is French Canadian and we are proud that this Gentleman designed this for us. And to honest, it was some time before we actually saw the spelling of Equip(e)ment. When I seen this, I searched the internet and seen that there was multiple ways to spell this. So to say, I wasn't so upset, eventhough we have had thousands of these decals, banner, FB logo displayed. My apologies to you that I didn't answer your e-mail promptly. The day we received the e-mail, our sales and marketing employee forwarded your e-mail to me for myself to reply as they had no answer to give you. Unfortunately, I happened to have a $25K machine go down, 2 new sewing machines come in to be setup for new employees to start producing gear immediately, telemarketers badgering out the crap of me with since everyone else in the shop does not know how to tell them off! The following day was to repair that $25K machine with a $.75 part and put back together, answer more phone calls, order a $100K Gerber cutter, find a glitch in our new software for bar-coding that we are setting up, draw up new patterns for a 1,000 piece order, and I took my wife out to lunch. Days like this are normal routine for me now with over 30 employees, just like the movie "Groundhog Days". However, I would like to Thank you for observing this situation and apologize for a no response. If it wasn't for you, I would have had a crap loud of HSGI T-Shirts printed with the silent "E" in them. I did happen to call our T-shirt guy, Juggernauts to have him to get the eraser out and delete the "E" ! Gene @ HSGI |

Reading books by UK authors has totally screwed the spelling of certain words for me. |

How about 500 free HSGI equipement stickers? |
| Holy crap Gene, I'm glad to see that you have grown so steadily! You sound like you have your hands full. I'm just weathering the economic storm here in sunny/shitty CA. If things keep going this way I might be bugging you for a job as an apprentice sewer and some ideas on housing on that side of the country! |
