| I can check if you don't get a definite answer, as I have both the bladder and carrier. My first instinct says it might work, but won't be optimal. The bladder has more curvature to it than the carrier, and I am not 100% sure that the mouth of the bladder will match up to the carrier. |

| Yes, you can make it fit. The USGI bladder is longer and narrower than the Source bladder, so when you put the Source bladder in the USGI carrier it is not a perfect match. The Source bladder doesn't fill the full length of the carrier, and at its' widest point is wider than the carrier. I don't know what this would do to the volume you can carry, but suspect it would be marginally less. The mouth of the bladder seems to be the same diameter as the USGI bladder, and lines up roughly where it needs to in order to be refilled without pulling it out of the carrier. FWIW - I like the features of the Source bladder more than any other I have used (USGI 3L and a couple different Camelbaks), so you might want to check out the Tactical Tailor offerings for it. I have seen a few of them on the EE also for good prices. |
