Okay, so I've got my ESSTAC triple mag shingle. Should i mount it forwards, with the Tan webbing outwards (the way its supposed to be mounted i think because each shingle is separated this way) or with the multicam webbing outwards (which i think its backwards because its flat)

It'll be going on my multicam banshee when it gets here on tuesday. I don't think that it will effect functionality either way, but i'm looking for some input from anyone who has one.

The MC colored webbing goes to the outside. The Tan webbing side gets the Malice clips. The separations are done that way in between the mags to help it hug your vest/ PC better.

It is supposed to be mounted with the MC webbing out.  The coyote webbing is the mounting side.

Great minds think alike, and simultaneously.

Thanks fellas! I'm glad you responded, i thought i was going crazy (WHY WOULD THEY PUT TAN WEBBING ON THE OUTSIDE?!?!?!). Glad sanity has been restored.

You gotta get the inserts for them. These are the first open top carriers I have used. And I gotta say that with those kydex inserts they are amazing. Just a recommendation.

This is good advice.  I love the kydex inserts.

Esstac pouches with kywis are the best mag pouch ever created.  I use them in my bush boa and on my plate carrier.

Agreed... only 61 seconds apart.
I use my ESSTAC pouches exclusively with the KYWI.... they rock.
