The whole thing is wrong. Terrible. Just send it to me and I’ll fix it right up for you. I’ll even keep it and do extended testing with it!

No thanks necessary, I’ll take one for the team.

Im not sure ill keep the pistol mags in yet kinda seeing how it feels and works in different load outs , unfortunately its a haley strategic chest rig so everything is sewn in. If i could i detach the double pistol mag and stick in the left cummerbund.

I was just pointing out that, at least with Haley, you get the profile you get and it is harder to switch things for better ergonomics. A base MOLLE placard is the only way to get something completely how you want it.

I think this is part of the reason people will page such a huge premium for Spiritus Systems stuff - (theoretically) infinite configuration options (when stuff is actually in stock).

I've been trying to catch a front plate bag in stock since black Friday of last year. By the time I checked out on black Friday the front was OOS, so I have everything but that. It's nuts.

That being said, there are groups on BookFace (if thats your thing) where you can find items for sale.

Probably a dumb question, but I’m just starting to research pc’s.  Is there a way to have a concealed pc but an option to attach a chest rig if not wanting/needing it to be concealed?

Or would you just have a concealed setup and a full blown setup?

You could reuse the plates, but you'd need separate carriers.

Concealed plates are expensive as well.

Definitely. Don’t let anyone tell you what to do. As you play around with thousands of $$$ worth of gear don’t be surprised if you wind up with a “default” setup that mirrors many of the setups here. Pieces that “just work” have a way of breaking through and into your final setup. A lot of the enjoyment is in the journey and the hunt.

Slickster or covert will allow a degree of concealment.  Plates are hard to hide as it is, especially as it gets warmer. Swiftclips let you add chest rigs.

If anyone is interested, Rogue Fitness makes weight plates for vests.  I have a few sets and the curve is very comfortable in my Crye Airlite SPC.  Good training substitute for your expensive real plates.

Weak side. 8 or 4 o’clock (depending on R vs. L). Secured in a manner that IFAK can be quickly detached from cummerbund. I use Vanquest Molle Sticks (2 tied together, making a “handle). Also, two CAT-T’s at separate locations on PC for ambi access.

Admin pouch at 6 or 12. 12 o'clock makes it very, very easy to access with either hand and I can just rip the pouch off the velcro if someone else needs it. Also makes it immediately identifiable in a worst case scenario (you're unconscious and someone else is in nearby).

One for my rig and one for my son's carrier. I found a guy out here who can teach me and my son how to use them.

That's a good list of items. The only thing I'd add is to be cautious about adding a decompression needle unless you know exactly how to use it. The entry area is close to some very, very vital organs.

Tension pneumothorax is no joke. A punctured heart is even more so.

On my PC - lower back in a SOTech Viper flat IFAK. Pull handles on both sides, works pretty slick. I also have a dangler I can add on the front.

On my belt - small kit at 6:00.

I also have two fanny packs, one small with just IFAK contents and then a large one with more general purpose/"boo-boo kit" kind of stuff.
