I like these Oakleys - no idea if they are made in the US or not, not if I had to guess. But they are nice. https://secure.usstandardissue.com/Product_Detail.cfm?id=66 |

My favorite gloves have been my Mechanix brand gloves. They provide enough dexterity to run in a shotgun class with them on and enough protection to keep my hands warm in a cool breeze. They're the only glove that I own where I can actually load a shotgun without fumbling the shells. As far a durability goes, mine have a good year's worth of work on them and there is a small tear in one of the seems.
Edit - They are made in China though.... |

Are you looking for cold weather, dexterity, what? For shooting, a lot seem to like the Mechanix. I like the Nomex flight gloves. |

+2 on Mechanix gloves. I wear the Impact version and love mine. Mechanix Impact Pro They do make a "covert" model in all black.I am very happy with these gloves, and you can buy from Lowes etc. without having to order, pay freight, return for wrong size. |
| I wear a pair of Mechanix Mpacts when I need to protect my hands. They also work well for keeping hands warm down to about 30*F. If it gets much colder than that, I throw a pair of mil-issue green wool liners on under them and they work great. As a matter of fact, I can't say how well they keep my hands warm, as I haven't been in temperatures low enough, even with strong winds, to get my hands cold while wearing them. |
