| What is the most popular gear color for tactical nylon products? I'm guessing khaki and multicam? |

myself, I prefer Multicam. simply works best for where I live. I would just buy Flectarn, but no new products are really made in that pattern. http://sphotos.ak.fbcdn.net/hphotos-ak-ash2/hs603.ash2/155565_472026410964_500085964_6451759_6666442_n.jpg CXS i dont see anything from Blackhawk, Tactical Tailor, Eagle, etc etc in Flectarn. Its not a option 99% of the time I browse looking at gear. Of course there is going to be a piece of two available. By and large its extremely limited to say the least. Currently Multicam is one of the newer patterns which has come about, and most all gear being produced is also now available in MC. Ive been trying to standardize, as right now ive got a mix of ACU, black, etc gear. Flecktarn source only other places i found by googling is airsoft crap suppliers. Id rather stick with a pattern which is readily available by almost all manufacturers of gear, gives me the most choices and still remains effective in the local environment. |

I think good old OD green is GTG!
With the variety of gear worn today, there is no "visible outline", there“s already enough variance! And the ( rather light coloured ) OD Green is not out of place even in the desert ( we are speaking GEAR there, not total clothing! ) For clothing I would use what fits the Terrain ... Hermann |

The OP is confusing "popular" with "appropriate", a common mistake.
In most instances, and particularly since the OP is from NY, a Woodland camo scheme, for late Spring through early Fall, would do nicely. Perhaps Multicam or Tan/Coyote brown for the hard winter, with snow covers, as applicable. Dont't confuse popular with appropriate. Every user has a given Area of Operations, and should tailor their camo scheme appropriately. |
