I need something that is not to bulky.  I live in east texas so the winters arn't to bad and I have a thick hunting coat I can wear if it gets to cold.

It needs to be some what rain proof,  long enough to cover a gun on my hip,  has a hood that can be removed or rolled in to a pocket,  plenty of pockets and of must be durable.
Thanks for any help.

If money is no object THIS is what you want.
If your not loaded than THIS is a good option.

Really those are the two ends of the spectrum. Just know if you buy something like T.A.D. gear you will pass it on to your children's, children. If you get the condor you may need a new one next year...

These are fucking AWESOME coats. Waterproof as hell, pockets a plenty,  tough enough to snag on barbed wire and not rip, and button up slits on the hips to accommodate a hip holster. Plus the color is plenty blendy, and you are not walking around like some wannabe tactical douche...

TAD Gear Spectre Hardshell. It should be out very soon. I have owned a few TAD items and I can't get enough of them.

I have a 3/4 length Carhartt coat that is water proof with a removable hood. Really well made and only about $130. Great for everyday work wear, lots of pockets. Won't make you stand out in a crowd either.
