| I am rearranging my vest and was thinking about swithcing to/trying BlackHawk Speed Clips. Any opinions? Are they better than standard Malice Clips? Are there any better options out there, such as Maxpedition's Tact tie or soem other maker's version? |

I would also like to hear the pros and cons of all these devices discussed, particularly by folks who have used more than one type, preferably all three. |

Meh, I wouldn't switch just to switch.
I haven't used the speed clips on pouches, but BH supplies basically the same thing on their MOLLE holster adapter. Malice clips can be a pain in the ass...but for some reason I like them...except they usually hang out/are exposed below the pouch. Best IMO are the Paraclete style, a nearly identical (?) version of which is found on TAG stuff...relatively thin/flexible strap with a stiff end which just tucks under the pouch...no snaps to fight with/line up nor come unsnapped. |

Secondly by design you will have to shift you pouch down(or up)to a spot that does not have webbing and this is the part I really don't like since it throws everything off. Hope this is clear, if not, just take my word for it you will regret it. Honestly I would just order some 1 inch webbing and velcro(or buy some snaps at walmart)and experiment on making some, this is what I am doing. |
