I have the MS2 and do like it. The ability to convert from single to 2 point is a huge plus.  Only downside is when used as a single point it tends to dig into your neck.  If strap was a bit thicker or padded it wouldn't be as bad. Also if your wearing a carrier of some sort it helps as well.  Gear sector single points are worth a look also.

I got the troy single point, brought it home tried it on my ak and ar, and sold it. Adjustablity sucks and I just couldn't get it to carry right. I much much prefer my ms2.

thanks y'all, i do plan to use this while wearing my LBE vest so you just made my choice easier.  I'll check out gear sector, but I will probably end up with teh MS2 since bravo carries it and I just need to grab the sling and stock right now.

Speaking of stocks, has anyone ever tried single point mounting on the stock itself, i can never get it to hang right personally.

Is it an a2 stock or m4 stock?

I have an lmt sopmod stock and tried attaching to it, it hangs too low. The sling attachment pts on the m4 stock is more suited to a 2 pt sling or a gear attached sling (like the SOB wolf hook, I used it for awhile in iraq and liked it, but no off hand shooting). What I use is the ASAP sling plate from magpul. I love it. Or try out any end plate for a single pt sling.

Magpul's ASAP plate works fine with the MS2, but I actually prefer a Noveske QD end plate.  It will still give you great range of motion, but then you also have the option to switch over to any hook or PB sling system using the same attachment point.  The ASAP is going to limit you to just the hook type slings.  The two slings I'm using with my rifles are the MS2 and the Vickers Padded AA w/ PB.
