Quoted: Thats nice, pretty close to what im going to try to set up for myself. where did you get the mag pouches, and what brand are they? if you dont mind me asking. HSGI, Available at SKDtac.com http://www.skdtac.com/SearchResults.asp?cat=466&RefineBy_Manufacturer=HSGI&RefineBy_16583=&RefineBy_Price=&Search= All the Magazine Pouches at the link above will hold .308 Magazines, as well as AK and M4.... The TACO is a Shingle that can hold any magazine, so if you want to use it for your M1A and AK or M4, the same rig will work for all of them.. ![]() CXS |

I got them here on the EE several years ago. They came from different folks thus the variety of colors. |

Quoted: That Taco is slick, especially the rifle/pistol combo (although I didn't see it @ SKD). I may need to go to that since I have a mixed batch of toys (9/45/223/308) http://militarytimes.com/blogs/gearscout/2010/07/23/hsgi-taco/ CXS |

I just picked up some Eagle double M4 pouches off the EE and as $$ allow will probably be transitioning to the DDTacos. The doubles are kind of bulky and after an honest assessment of my anticipated AO I don't see myself needing 8 rifle mags in addition to the other crap I'll be carrying. I just need to find a good ("cheap") source. Love how the MSRP is $40 and dealers offer a "GREAT LOW PRICE!!!!! LQQK!" of a whopping $39.95. ![]() Disclaimer - this is just my assessment of my anticipated needs, this is not an approval or condemnation of anybody else's choices or a refutation of their opinion. Lighten TF up Francis. |
