Good price.  I wish they had a hooded version.

That is a nice price.  I just got a rather nice Columbia  Titanium series softshell a week ago at the Columbia Outlet in Williamsburg, VA for around $23.  It also features the Interlock system so I could be attached to an outer shell.  However, it has the same drawback as the one in the OP, no hood.

I actually bought two of the Columbia jacket, one for work and one for play.

I don't think TAD was the first to make a softshell jacket with pockets

yeah no shit LOL.

fleeces have been around for years now, way before all the "tactical" places started pushing them.

I find it amusing really that so much "outdoor" gear is now being phased into military/tactical use and so many people are jumping on it like its the new best thing....

Now yall have went and given me an idea to make money to feed my EBRs.  I can get out my Campor catalog and start ordering stuff.  Then, I can have some tactical looking logo embroidered on the items.  After doing all that, I can make a website and sell all my new "Tactical" clothing.

I actually like the underarmour version better. No hand pockets, and a small pocket on the sleeve. That way I don't put stuff in them and lose it when i layer.

Edit #1––

I just had a brain storm.  LaRue uses the Dillo as his logo.  Since I'm from the East Coast, I could use the possum.  Possum Tactical.

Edit #2––

Yet another idea.  Since everyone is nuts about the Dillo, I could do the Possum Tactical Can Opener.

Start with  P-38 Can Opener

Then Duracoat it a light gray.  Follow up with adhering a small tail and legs.

Thus is born the Possum Tactical Can Opener.

Royal Robbins 5.11 are the best example of this.  SOmetimes I kick myself for not coming up with some kind of tactical clothing in 2002 or so...
