I would like to find a closed top single M16 magazine pouch, that can accept pistol mags on the front molle, or has them build it. This would hold a total of one M16 mag, and two 9mm mags.
OR I might consider a kydex/plastic s1ngle M16 mag pouch, if it can accept a pistol pouch on the front via molle attachment. I do not want an open-top bungee mag pouch. Whatever I go with, it need to be a single M16 mag pouch, so I can keep the overall profile of the pouch to a minimum. Thanks in advance guys. |

How do you propose to close the pouch if you have pistol mags over the front of it?
This is one of the reasons Shingles are so popular, is that they have other stuff stacked. If you want a closed top pouch, you're pretty much going to be left having pistol mags on either side of it. There are a couple companies like SOE that make them that way. |

Look at the very popular monkey stomper pouches. They are flap top with pistol mags up front. It can, and has been done. Unfortunately they dont offer them as a single cell M16 pouch. I also see no reason one couldn't run a single flap over both the rifle, and pistol mags. I have a design already made using this technique, but was hoping someone could help with an "off the shelf pouch" before I send my design to a custom maker for fabrication. Now back to my search.
