Anyone here use opticsplanet.com before? They appear to be the only company that currently has the Eagle RRV in Khaki in stock.
I haven't heard anything about this company before so I am a little weary... |

Nothing against them - lots of companies drop ship - but back when I was searching for a 6285 for my G21, I called them, and asked if I could pick it up, since I had to go to a uniform store in the same business park to get fitted. I know the area well, I worked there for a year and it's about 35 minutes from my house. They told me that they didn't stock most of their items. I asked what the turnaround time was from order to delivery. The worker declined to give me a specific answer in terms of number of days, and told me that "(my) order would be added to other items until their minimum order amount was reached; at that point the order would be placed and then it was up to the manufacturer's delivery schedule". Their guesstimate was 3-6 weeks. I paid about the same via an eGay store for a holster that was in stock and was in my hand in 3 days. I have to give them points for honesty - at least they didn't tell me it was in stock and then pull the "backordered" routine. YMMV. |
| I am running into a problem with them now with something that is out of stock, they shipped what I ordered to someone (a friend) who ordered 4 days after I did, we ordered the exact same thing, he got his today and they dont know when mine will get there, I asked about why he got his first and they couldnt give me a good answer, this will be my last order with them. The item I ordered showed in stock, once I ordered i got an email saying we just out of that item, at this point I knew they never had it in stock, my friend when he placed his order got the same email knowing they were out of stock, |
