[ARCHIVED THREAD] - Small AK Chest Rig Question

I'm looking for a chest rig that is sort of a minimalist rig that can hold 3 AK mags and a small pouch for first-aid, etc. I was thinking something along the lines of a TT mini-MAV and just add the mag pouches and EMT pouch, but after finding some prices and doing the math I remembered I'm a broke college kid. So my question is who makes a rig like this that is already along my criteria. This would be a simple SHTF/Zombie/Fun rig. I'd appreciate any assistance from the hive. Thanks.

You could certainly assemble something like a TT Mav, etc. with a similar configuration, but you would probably end up spending a good bit more.

Where did you guys buy yours? I see them on the company website at $85. Anyone find a deal on it anywhere else? I am interested in one too.

Unless you find a used one, however, you will be paying the same price. John Willis (OSOE) is a semi custom shop and only a few retailers distribute his stuff.
