Have you been to the TAG store in Jacksonville lately? If so, did you happen to notice what they are charging for a Spartan I? I'm looking to get one, but I can't get them on the phone to tell me what they want for one.

On a similar note, is Gene still making Centurian IBA carriers?

I don't remember the price.

HSGI has some Centurions in the back of the Warehouse.

TAG has hundreds of Spartan I's in boxes in the back room.

If Mike still was the manager I could have gotten you a S1 on the cheap.

The new guy running the shop wont.

I'll check the price for ya today though.

Thanks.

What are the Centurians going for? It's been a long time since I saw one for sale anywhere.

Thanks for checking. If I get a chance, I'll try to call Gene at the shop after Labor Day and find out the price on the Centurions. Is there anywhere in the J-ville area that sells armor/plates? A set of E-SAPIs would just about round out my setup.

TAG sells armor plates, but not the ESAPIs. Gotta look to SKD, eBay, and Online for those.

If you wanna see something thats gonna make you angry, go to http://www.lejeuneyardsales.com/and see how much I pay for Surefires, KAC accessories, Gerbers, and pretty much all things that are good.

If you look, AMAZING deals are to be found. G2's for $15, Grip Pods for $20, KAC rail accessory sets for $20, Surefire batteries for $0.50 each..

Spartan II's pop up on here from time to time with Soft Armor for a decent Price.

The only thing is all the Sales are FTF.

Don't be afraid to hook a brother up once in a while when you're out doing the tactical yard sale circuit. I'd hate to think of you taking on all of those great deals by yourself.

I only make it up to Jacksonville about once or twice a year, and only for a couple of days then, but I try to hit the good stores while I'm there.

I guess I could counter that with some pictures of an ambulance and the ghetto to illustrate how I'm spending my weekend, but now I'm too sad to do it. Thanks alot, dick.

As the new Division Commander for 2nd MarDiv said, that 300 dollar flashlight being sold almost new in box for 50 dollars is kind of an indicator that the Marine Corps supply and accounting process isn't working.

My cousin on his last deployment was given 3 Surefire M951 Kits $350, 4 Gerber Multi tools $80, 3 pairs of Oakley M-Frames $120, 2 Otis Cleaning Kits $20, ect...
