HEY YALL.
I started out with a Wasatch when deployed and called Gene asking for the Woosatch front bib. I purchased it and used it an most of my deployment. At the time the side SAPI upgrade was not available so I got some material and modified it to fit my needs.

Below you will find the pics of how i have modified my current Woosatch and the reasoning behind. Recently I did a custom order Woosatch with Gene so I am selling this one.

Here is a normal straight on view

As you can see plenty of room for mounting all sort of pouches. you may notice that there are some horizontal 1 inch straps on the shoulder straps. These are an addition by me. I wanted something to slide a hydration tube under and hold it secure. on the right strap there are only two. This was to make it so i could attach a multi tool, belt cutter, or light on that side.

This was to give you an idea of options. If you don't use the plate pocket fold it under and snap it to the 550 cord I had hanging out of the drain holes. keeps the bib in place. If you use the cross back straps that are available you may not use the upper portion of the bib if you are trying to maybe go for a low profile rig.

OK. here is my biggest modification. I needed the side SAPI plate pockets so I got creative. I however lost the use of the side mesh pockets. This turned out to make it my favorite rig. By having all my major weight on one easily to don rig it made QRF reaction time even faster. No Joke. Also the comfort level was inexplicable. I used my IBA (front tied together with 550 cord and side straps got cut so i could use fastex buckles making a clamshell with super fast fitting) as the first layer. Keeping that tight to my body I added the big rig. because the placement of the side SAPIS were just right I had no slop or digging anywhere. Also because I could make it tight and secure I would wear it for very long times without any certain area getting fatigued.

Again just showing that you can make it a low profile rig if needed.

Just a quick pic showing the multiple things available. Inside the bottom pocket I kept part of a vs-17 panel folded away and in the upper pocket went my leaders cards.

You can more than likely see the cumber-bun cover I added. Lots of real estate for hydration and radio pouches.

Here is the other mod I wanted. I wanted more real estate for smoke and grenade pouches so I added a USGI Molle belt from an assault vest and cut and sewed it till I got the adjustment i wanted. Still could be lengthened out. Fits right now to be worn as a plate carrier only.

Not much to say here.

This just shows where I placed the velcro and how much material was used.

Again not much to say.

This thing held a plate very securely. It also had room in the bottom for whatever you may have wanted to add. I didn't add anything at all.

Overall for an all around rig I LOVE THIS THING.
BUT- I did call Gene and made a Version 2.0. I guess you could call it a WOOSATCH version A+. It will have 20 pals rows across the belly and pals on the inside for the front bib with Molle side SAPI pockets to allow adjustment of pocket placement. When I get it I will take pics and give a short write up about it.

Hope this helps those who may be interested in the WOOSATCH.

I just configured my Wasatch to a Chest rig with the top part folded down like you show.

No rear panel/plate carrier and an H-Harness..

I'm digging it..

Just need to bust out the sewing machine to finalize the Straps..

Yeah it is all about options. I just needed more real estate and didn't want to buy a plate carrier and chest rack separately. Plus HSGI makes the good stuff.
