You won't find a perfect camo for the planet, just a suitable camo for specific environments. Scorpion and MC are attempts to have a single effective camo for as wide an array of environments as possible.

Is this the byproduct of a Woodland and MultiCam one night stand?

Nope, it's a less effective version of Multicam

If you read the article, it shows it scored less effective than Multicam in all but one environement.  It makes sense if you think about it since Scorpion was basically Multicam version 1.0.  Crye improved on it and it became what we now know as Multicam.

56 to 58. I call that "operationally negligible" At that point, it's not your camo giving you away, it's your gear, your rifle, or something else. I wouldn't call the test exhaustive by any means as the test was a picture in a picture and not even a live test in the field.

The Army could have saved millions by just sending a knife hand expert SGM to US Army Sniper School and saying; "Hey guys, we need a new camo pattern. You, you, and you, find one in a week."

Awesome review.

I was curious about the differences but it seemed like every discussion got bogged down in politics.

Atacs is trying again. Thing is, If I can't get it in NYCO ripstop, I'm not interested. The FG in 65% poly 35% cotton is a terrible material.

Schott Performance Fabrics has FG in NYCO, so, wtf isn't propper or tru spec making BDU's in it?
FG in NYCO.

Hawkeye, maybe we just need to buy some and make our own shit. By that I mean, we buy it and you make it.

Seems to work really well. In the takes that I could see you, it was your head or shadow giving you up.

I really like this one. I love Tiger stripe designs, and the only time I noticed you was when I was searching to find the person I knew was supposed to be there.

Just walking along, you would never spot someone without having knowledge that someone was supposed to be there.

Do you have a preferred vendor?

I replaced mine for field/range use with Mechanix Fast Fits in Multicam, but the SKD's will always be in the truck. Both are great gloves.

Nice vid brother!

I'm not a big fan of that camo, I spotted you everytime

By any chance could you do some Wolf Grey vid in a wooded area?
I was thinking about using Wolf Grey in my Get home bag. I know WG blends in pretty well in rural areas but I haven't seen any videos of it in wooded area.
