I used to have a massive suregrip loaded up like Rambo, wore it in a class, and sold near all of it the next day. Felt like running with a tire around my waist. This is about as heavy as I get. My APC is down to a Ten Speed shingle and another TQ. Haven’t found a reason to change the set up in years.
...would like try Esstac pouches though. |

Swapped the Suregrip for the cobra/belt pad, dumped the double stacked pouches, dropped to two pistol mags/one rifle, got rid of the knife and light. Way more manageable now. Everything is mounted with Esstac belt loops and zip ties to keep them from sliding around. |

I'm not the best Cola Warrior, that's on record. I'm not the best two gunner, that's on record, I'm not the best American Pioneer guy, that's on record. However, these events give me a SHIT LOAD of opportunities to try out stuff if you're even remotely social. Just need a med kit and tq and I think I’ll be done with this belt. First I need to take a stop the bleed course before purchasing a med kit, otherwise it’s pointless for me to have it if I don’t know how to use it. |

You guys need inner belts with those Eagles? I don't wanna mess with an inner. I want a grab and go system....hence the HSGI want.
I wear a Wilderness belt everyday if that matters. I'd like to be able to keep it that way. |

Its way more stable than the bigger war-belt style and you remove the issue with stacking a belt over your pants belt. For quick use or over my winter clothes I use the HSGI pad that attaches by velcro to my outer belt. Its the same padding material as the bigger HSGI belts. |

It's more what you want to do. ASS guys either appreciate the light weight for real stuff or appreciate it for competition. On the flip side, I really like my Daeodon because I have water when I'm out in the sun shooting all day, and other guys with more experience doing real stuff have their own reasons. Best part about getting out shooting and competing is your figure out what you like. If I bought a second carrier, it'd be another Daeodon. |

Attached File The start of mine and my wifes. (she shoots and competes with me as well) She is a little clumsy, so she has to have a belt that threads through her belt loops, I dont trust her with velcro. I do not trust her with a knife either! List: Mine: Esstac belt (this was kind of awkward because I am one of those in between sizes, so I ordered the XL if I want to wear a hoodie and I am glad I did. I keep losing weight so worst case, Ill order another!) Esstac 1+2 Esstac TQ holder (have not decided on a med pouch yet, but prob will go with esstac!) SL UBL (qls comes in wed) with Trex ragnarok holster for glock w/tlr 1. Benchmade adamas fixed (this may go though, I do not want to knife fight), my put my leatherman in place of it. Hers: (so far) Trex Orion inner belt UBL (have blackhawk holster, but would like to get another ragnarok) Esstac 1+2 Esstac TQ holder For those who are interested in how I put her TQ holder under the 1+2. Esstac sent me a decent amount of industrial velcro with adhesive. I am using their 1.75 belt loops, so I attached the velcro to the back slick side of the belt loops. Their TQ holder has a lot of space, so it is able to dangle below a 1+2 this way., and feels pretty secure. Sorry for the crappy bed pics, but I managed to sneak the dogs in. ESSTAC PLEASE MAKE A DOG HARNESS!!! |
