Does anyone use Eagle molle pouches for the 18round 226 mags made by Mec Gar? If so which ones do you use? I see eagle has them for the M9, G17/22, and G20/21 all listed seperate. I know a standard 15round 226 mag will fit perfectly in the M9 pouch but the 18 rounder does have the thicker plate on the bottom so I am not sure if it would affect the fit.
I have checked all the vendors and even the manufacturers and am not finding anything close to this so hopefully someone might know where I could find this. I am looking for a plate carrier, something like the Eagle plate carrier with cumberbun but with a different attachment method. Rather than the cumberbun velcroing in the front I would like something with 2 fastex buckles on each side but closer to the front than in the middle. Something similar to the Blackhawk STRIKE cutaway http://www.blackhawk.com/product/STRIKE-Cutaway-Tactical-Armor-Vest-V1,712,90.htm but with the buckles placed closer to the back, about 5 inches or so further to the back. Or does anyone have any experience with the Blackhawk STRIKE cutaway plate carrier?? |
