if you can not find one, you are not looking very hard. tru-spec, propper, and SKD all have them

The SKD one is made in America, I know that means something to some people

SKD's is THE best choice outside of a actual Crye one. I'd look at Proppers as a second choice alternative if you couldnt get a SKD one.

but the one from Propper is not made from 50/50 nyco

So would it really be that bad if I bought the Propper one?  As long as it'll hold up I think I'd be fine.

None of the above, because you should be spending that money on gas back and forth to interviews so you can get another job so you can afford to buy the American Made hat????

yeah well in a perverted way you are right and I have, and thats a big part of the problem as our economy is consumer
based spending, I have done NONE, period, as a matter of fact I'm going to be 'culling the heard' as it were and sell off some
of the excess, but thats a another stroy

since all the neo-cons here want to get all warm and fuzzy with their flag waveing BS, lets consider that foregen made hat:
it was unloaded from the boat by an american worker
loaded on a truck or train by an american worker
drove across the country by an american worker
unloaded/warehoused by an american worker
and sold by a american worker in an american store, and delivered to your house

hell the hat in question had its fabric made here by a american worker
and the same number of american workers shipped in back across country and loaded the boat

so that hat not made here, gave more americans jobs/paychecks then the hat made by the overpaid union worker here

and yes virginia, it's just a hat

let the flame war begin

I'm not trying to start any flame war or bitch fest.

What industry do you work in?

FWIW, neither am I, I'm just venting.
you can read about it in my thread
AR15.COM :: Forums :: The Unemployed/Laided off thread
http://www.ar15.com/forums/topic.html?b=8&f=12&t=342774

and while my main job has about nothing to do with the above subject, I do have a back ground in shipping/receiving/
forklift operator, so that would be my 'fall back' job, so I guess it would tie in.

and before anyone new wants to make a comment, I have PLENTY of first rate US made gear as my main load out

my rant about the hat is, well it just sits on your head and keeps the sun off, it does not really "do" anything. so I would just get
whats cheaper, thats all

YMMV
