I am trying to find some plastic plates for my TT plate carrier, I want them to keep it rigid while hanging in my safe without weighing down the plate carrier with the actual plates and risking a very unlikely break of the vest, but most likely the hanger or what it is hanging from and damaging a rifle, optics, ceramic plates, vest w/ gear or all the above. Thanks in advance.

Could probaly find something at a hardware store and cut it toof it.    Hell, if you got some old Tubber Ware containers laying around.....dont need no stinkin' lids for dinner

why does it matter if your plate carrier is kept rigid?

I don't understand the whole "keeping the vest stiff in the safe" thing but it is a good idea if you have ceramic plates to switch them out for training plates during practice or carbine classes to avoid cracking them. For your purposes wouldn't a plywood plate work for you? you probably already have the necessary stuff in your garage.
