At some point I would REALLY appreciate a detailed review of the different types of uniforms you have and pictures of each with a comparison.

from left to right: Tru-spec, SKD, Tru-spec pants, Tru-spec, SKD pants, Propper pants, SKD enhanced, Propper, Propper (BDU), Tactical Tailor MC fleese, Tru-spec parka. I have another set of Tru-spec's in my pack. as for a comparison, the last time I said something against sacred cow SKD I got jumped so.......... I do hate the 65/35 fabric of the Proppers, but I think color wise, they look the best, at least for summer colors.  Tru-spec on left, Propper on right. FWIW, about 90% of the MC in the woods pics that I posted have been the Tru-spec's. the SKD's are even more faded looking  |
Not sure where Propper and True Spec get their material from, but SKD get's theirs directly from Crye (Duro). That could be a possibl explanation for any shading/color differences, as well as variations from lot to lot. |
yeah trust me I know the whole story of the 'history of Multicam'  and the how and why some look a bit different.I was'nt blaming SKD or anything, I was mearly pointing out that of my collection, theirs was the most faded looking, and one of the complaints against MC ( aside from price ) is that it's light in color, and I personally was'nt going to use theirs as my 'go to' set for that reason. |

It's a boonie hat. I am not going to say where though... it had to be pointed out to me the first time I saw it as well.

A few items........... (I suck at picture taking) SKD Bravo top and pants.   Tru-Spec H2O jacket.  Tactical Tailor fleece jacket.  SKD Boonie, SKD Ballcap, Crye Precision Boonie.   Light rig (Swamp Fox) front and back.   Eagle plate carrier with Tactical Tailor, HSGI, and ATS pouches.  ATS padded Molle belts with Tactical Tailor pouches, SKD/HSGI UDP and Safariland 6004s.  Eagle AIII Molle pack and Camelbak Motherlode.   You've probably already seen these, but I'll put a few up anyway just to show I use my stuff.
