Gents, I pulled the trigger last week on a Kifaru Zulu Pack and a few more Kifaru goodies. How is the delivery time nowadays? Do you Kifaru owners really waited 6-8 weeks for delivery or they usually deliver sooner than that? Later? Other thing... I know Kifaru offers a few gadgets to carry your long gun in the "ready" position (Combat GunBearer/Universal Combat GunBearer). Im interested in how do you carry a long gun (M4 type rifle) secured in a Zulu (or another Kifaru pack) NOT using any of the GunBearer systems. It dont have to be in a "ready" position, but a secured position... actually I'm asking for a way to carry a 2nd rifle. Any experiences and pics are greatly appreciated. Best regards. |
my Zulu was 8 weeks to the day ( last summer ) I have a ZXR on order now  and was told 4-6 weeks. I'll wait till the 5 week mark and ask for an eta.what pack did you order  here's a pic of a ZXR and how you could carry a gun  also have you checked out the Kifaru forum there is an F'in ass load of info there.

well it will "fit" in the rear slot pocket, but I had to almost empty all of it to do that. the pockets expand 'in', so they take up volume of the main space, and depending what you have in there, it can be a bitch. depending on how you want to use it, you might be better off comming up with a way to strap it to the outside, with some dock-in-lock buckles and paracord.
