The SO Tech Go Bag was designed for aircraft crews as a grab and go back.  the first thing that strikes you is the slim profile compared to the normal tear dropped one we are used to with most bags.  That and the fact that it only has one shoulder strap and is intended to be worn in the sling postion or around the waistband (I doubt that postion would be very comfortable)  For comparison here it is pictured next to my old school Eagle AIII.

Here are back and side views.

And a borrowed front pictures since I forgot to take one.  The sling features a side release buckle.

Below is the main compartment, I like this more than the traditional three day pack.  It opens all the way so you can see everything you have int the bag as it lays flat, you are not stuck digging for stuff in the bottom of the bag.  It can be accessed by ripping a pull tab at the top of the flap or using a strap that runs between both zippers. The MOLLE pouch shown at the bottom of the bag and by itself is this one http://www.cheaperthandirt.com/MOLLE300-19879-1978.html  from  Cheaper Than Dirt and is perfect for fitting the width of the bag.  This one is my FAK.  May pick up a few more since it would be great for sub loading.  Using three or four of them would be great.

The pocket that you can see the Mircrotech Auto sitting in is supposed to be a hydration pouch.  I just don't see it.  Too narrow and I did not see any tube access at the top of the pack.  I may try to use it as a slash pocket for my Becker Tac Tool.  As for water you can see the custom Nalgene pouch made by Arron Chen AKA Snake Eyes on the forum mounted on the right side of the pack in the first pictures.

Here you can see the two slash pockets that run the length of the main compartment on each side.  They are good size and can be overstuffed.  They have duel zippers.

The most obvious pockets on the bag are the three on the outside.  You can see here in the picture that a Pelican 1020 Mirco Case fits well in the pockets.  I keep my camera in mine.  In the middle one I have a Taurus Model 85 UL and the top one is just and admin pouch with pens etc.  I do wonder why SO Tech chose not to use duel zippers on these pockets since I like that on all pockets.

There are three rows of PALS webbing on the top and bottom of each side of the pack.  All of them are usable and not just there for show.  The bag also has the traditonal drag handle on top as well as one on the bottom that is velcroed down when not in use to avoid snagging.

This is the new Bag of Evil.  There are two things that I don't like about the bag and they are small ones.  One is that there is no velcro on the bag for adding a name tag, but I can take care of that.  The second is the big  SO Tech green tag on the side of the bag that looks like it should be on the inside of the bag.  But I can cut that off too, that is unless I want eveyone to know how damn cool I am.

Final points, I love the fact that because of the one shoulder strap for sling carry this bag fits me and is comfortable.  Because of my size most backpacks I can tolerate if I am in just a t-shirt.  Add a light jacket and forget about it.  Another think I love is that because of the design of the pack everything stays where you put it when it wasy laying flat to pack it, unlike most packs that lay flat to pack and when you pick it up everything falls to the bottom.  So far I am very fond of this pack and expect to see it become very popular with civilians and troops.

any neck bite during heavy movement with a full load?  the full zip should be on everything nowadays.

I have not gotten a chance to run around with it yet but the sling is very wide and heavily padded, so I don't anticipate and issue.

Great write up  for anyone that wants to see this bag in "action" it's featured in the Transformers movie as several of the SF guys have them ( in Multicam ) which is of course why I was interested in it, but never knew anyone in 'real life' that had one

did you order direct from SO Tech or get it else where

got it from www.specialforcesgear.com

They are GTG in my book.  I ordered on 03DEC and with the holidays kinda lost track of it and it never showed up.  On 26DEC I called and spoke to the owner Dave and was like WTF.  That was 1400 on 26DEC.  I had it in my hands by 27DEC at 1100.  Now that is taking care of a customer.  I will order again.
