[ARCHIVED THREAD] - Eagle CIRAS Size Question

Don't even ask why or how... but I got an opportunity to get an Eagle CIRAS vest and soft armor insert at no cost to me.

Right now I'm looking at the maritime type, but a bit skeptical on the size I would need.

My concern is that the small size isn't vertically big enough, and that the medium might be a little loose on me, maybe not with BDUs on.

I'm 5 feet, 9 inches tall, 145lbs., pretty slim. Anyone out there with an idea of what I'd be needing?

Bro, the CIRAS sizing is cut according to your body size/build, not plates etc.
I'd recommend the Medium size for you.

I'm 5'9 220lbs and I have a Medium. It fits like a glove. I have large plates in it, you'd probably want medium.

The Large is HUGE you'll be swimming in it.

Go Medium.
