Does anyone have one of these? I have a lightfighter raid and a TT 3 day. How bis is this pack compared to these? What are your thoughts on this pack? |
| The DBT SOF is an outstanding pack. The only reason I sold mine is because I still liked my SO Tech Mission pack better, but sometimes I wish I would have kept it. I think if the multicam ones go on sale again, I'll probably pick another one up. I've also had 3 raids and and a few TT assault packs and would take the SOF any day of the week over them. I think I got mine on sale for $169, which was a steal. |
| The SOF was larger, already has pockets on the back and was cheaper because of the sale. If you already have pouches attached to the back of your raid it's just about a duplicate except the SOF is a little bigger. The construction of the pack was as good as any. |
I have their 3 day pack and love it..though it is about a $100 less in price still a great pack....I have the optional frame and waist belt. Got my girlfriend one too and she used it in Iraq (convoy commander not a fobit )the sof would be nice as it is larger though not sure worth the extra $100 for just a bit larger...as for build quality top notch from DBT. the 3-day is on sale and is not much smaller |

bought both 3day and SOF - the SOF has been on my floor since 2 days after getting the shipment in. it does the job, but you would be better served with a PPM small assault or medium assault bag been using the 3 day for my work bag for the last 2 months no problems yet |
