Anyone know where to get replica grenades that aren't the demilled grenades.  Looking for a grenade that can be thrown during training without damaging too much.  A rubber or plastic simulated grenade is more of what I'm looking for.

There are cast  polyurethane M26s available:
Armor Cast Grenades

They are not the same weight as originals so they don't throw the same way. And, they don't come with "spoons" or pins.

99% of the dummy grenades on the market never were a real grenade at any time.  They are cast pot metal.  The only "real" parts are recycled, fired training fuses.

I've got a pineapple grenade that is cast, though from what I can't tell.  It has its bottom ground off.  The interior definitely smells like something other than metal.  TNT?  Is it a real grenade made inert?

They grind the hole into the bottom so they cant be made into real grenades.  It has nothing to do with if it was once real or not.
