Anyone using this pack? I am wondering if the extra pouches that are added as compared to the normal 3 day pack by TT are removable.

I have decide on the TT pack but am now trying to figure out between the 3 day and the 3 day plus...

Confused

No, the additional pouches are not removable.

I like the pack a lot, but I never use mine. I originally got it as a BOB pack for my Jeep, but it was soon replaced by a more "civilian appropriate" Mountainsmith pack. My TT 3 Day Assault pack plus is up for sale if you're interested.

I use a regular MOLLE TT3day quite a bit and am pretty happy with it. Wish it were a little taller, that's about it.

I was looking a while back and had considered the TT 3 Day or the TT 3 Day Ranger but they didn't have webbing to expand on that the time.

They also didn't have the 3 Day Plus either so I opted to go with the Maxpedition Vulture II.

The 3 Day Plus comes in at 2900 CI with the addition of the pockets where the Maxpedition has 2810 CI plus webbing to add pouches, pockets or other gear across the back. the waist belt and both sides. The additional webbing makes the Maxpedition a little more versital in my oppinion.

I plan on having 2 side pockets made and have a couple other pouches or Versa Pack that can be strapped to the back.
